Right said Amanda. It’s certainly laughable. The so called “fat police” is trying to force a section of society to step onto a scale each day and engage in forced exercise programs, however, it smells fishy. Rather a simple plot to redistribute global wealth. Global warming is a man-made fiasco - both fat and thin are contributing equally to it. If the world is not having solutions, it’s not fair to make obese people easy targets. It’s discriminatory. Do you really think the main cause behind global warming and food crisis is that simple?

Very well written Amanda! People who blame a particular section for any global problem are foolish, I think.

The problem is ’GLOBAL’ because each one of us is contributing to it(directly or indirectly).

Instead of blaming others one should think that how much is he/she doing to reverse the effects of these global issues.

The news must have really disturbed a number of fatties.Blaming them for this reason seem funny to me. Hasn’t anyone informed those so called scientists that in fact it’s human activites that contribute maximum to global warming.

Well i assume that all these scientists must be planning to for a dual task that is first to save the earth and then to stop people getting more fatty.

Why couldn’t the scientist do some trivia on how to tackle global warming rather than pointing finger aimlessly. It is utterly shameless. A person might be fat but he/she can be responsible as well. I mean how utterly baseless his argument is.

Ha, Ha! I had read it somewhere earlier and I can bet the scientists from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine are skinny and starved. Go ahead Amanda eat, drink and be merry. Let the scientists wreck their minds figuring out whats causing global warming.
